Waynesville man sentenced in federal court for robbing St. Robert bank

A Waynesville man was sentenced in federal court Wednesday for robbing a St. Robert bank in February.

42-year-old Arthur Green was sentenced to 12 years and 7 months in federal prison for robbing Security Bank of Pulaski County.

Green pleaded guilty in April after entering the bank on February 20 and handing the teller a note demanding money.

The teller gave Green $1,100 and he quickly left the bank. Green was caught several hours later after Pulaski County deputies spotted his vehicle.
