Flooding causes road closures in Boone County

Heavy rain caused multiple roads to flood in Boone County Monday night.

At 9:00 p.m., Highway WW and Old Hathorne Drive closed due to flood waters.

At 9:15 p.m., Sinclair Road, south of Nifong Boulevard closed due to water over the roadway.

At 10:15, MODOT closed the Highway U and Doyle Road area in Cooper County because of flooding.
