Wright calling for lobbyist ban
Rep. John Wright of Columbia held a town hall meeting Wednesday night the Daniel Boone Regional Library in Columbia.
He continued to call for tighter rules and regulations to govern lobbyist gift practices.
Last year state legislators accepted nearly $1 million in personal gifts.
Wright plans to hold several town hall style meetings to discuss lobbyists and their influence.
He told ABC 17 News he wants to ban lobbyists gifts and tighten campaign laws.
