Jimmy Whitt trims list to nine schools

Hickman guard Jimmy Whitt has Mizzou in his final nine schools. Whitt made the announcement on Twitter Wednesday and is one of the top guards in the country.

Arkansas, Illinois, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are also the list. The Razorbacks are coached by former Missouri coach Mike Anderson, who still has connections to Mid-Missouri. Marquette, SMU, Kansas State and California round out the list.

The Hickman senior is listed as a 4-star recruit by Rivals.

Earlier in the summer, Whitt told ABC 17 he wanted to make his decision before the start of the regular season in a news conference.
