MGN Online

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), working with a contractor, will begin replacing the deck and upgrading guardrail on the Callaway County Route O bridge over Auxvasse Creek, southeast of Fulton, beginning Monday.

The existing bridge was built in 1967 and the driving surface has reached a point where rehabilitation is necessary to extend the life and usability of the bridge.

Drivers will need to use alternate routes during construction because the bridge will be closed..

The work is expected to be completed by the end of August.
