UPDATE: The Sheriff's Office says they are looking for one suspect from a car chase with police early Wednesday morning.

The Sheriff's Office says three individuals were taken into custody and this includes the driver of the vehicle. All three individuals currently in custody are 14-years-old. Their names will not be released since the individuals are minors.

The four suspects then got out and ran away from the car. The Ford Fusion then rolled into another car and caused minor damage.

There were no injuries from the incident according to Captain Brian Leer of the Boone County Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with information on the fourth suspect is encouraged to contact the Boone County Sheriff's Office.

Original Reporting

Three people are currently in custody after a police chase led to a car crash on Park Avenue in Columbia Wednesday morning.

Just a little after 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, authorities told ABC 17 News they tried to pull over a grey Ford Fusion after they realized it was stolen. The driver refused to pull over and sped away from authorities.

According to J. Stewart with the Boone County Sheriff's Office, the Fusion crashed into a parked car on Park Avenue in Columbia and multiple suspects jumped out and ran off.

ABC 17 News Crews on the scene observed all four doors of the Fusion open and the front right tire of the car to be flat. Crews also saw law enforcement knocking on doors in the surrounding area in search of the suspects.
