Missouri wrestling Cox, Smith awards MAC honors

Missouri wrestler J’den cox was named Mid-American Conference freshman of the year and wrestler of the year.

A true freshman, Cox is the youngest national champion in program history.

Head coach Brian Smith was named MAC Coach of the Year.

Coach Smith has been the MU wrestling coach for the last 16 years and led his team to their third consecutive conference tournament title overall.
