Council tight-lipped on conference center decision
Monday night Jefferson City Council members heard from the public in the last open meeting before they make their, “one or none” vote to proceed with the conference center.
Only 13 people addressed the council, and the majority of them were in favor of the downtown proposal.
ABC 17 News asked several council members if they thought they were leaning one way or another, but they agreed that the decision would go down to the wire.
The council will decide to go with one proposal, or none at all, on April 7th.
