A 17-year-old Linn man is facing charges for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from Linn High School.

Over the past several months, authorities at the school have reported cash missing from administrative offices. They said the total missing is around $2,600.

The Osage County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating these thefts, and arrested 17-year-old Dylan Brown for burglary and stealing.

Brown allegedly told law enforcement he entered the school with a key.

He was arrested and booked in the Osage County Jail. He has since bonded out.

The sheriff’s office is now looking for other persons of interest in the thefts.

They’re asking anyone with information to call their tips hotline at 573-897-3927. Tips can be left there anonymously.
