Tracking a cool start to the week

MONDAY: Some of us will wake up to some fog around the area. That mix of sun and clouds will turn mostly cloudy early on. A few spotty sprinkles will be possible from the late morning into the early afternoon. Temperatures will bounce back from a cool start into the low 60's.

TONIGHT: We'll stay quiet and mostly cloudy overnight, with lows falling into the middle 40's.

EXTENDED: Clouds will stay with us into Tuesday. A few showers will be possible again into the afternoon. It'll be another cool day with highs in the lower 60's. Sunshine returns Wednesday with high pressure winning out but the cool theme will continue with temperatures topping out in the low to mid 60's. We warm into the upper 60's Thursday with another healthy dose of sunshine. Rain chances move back in Friday as a disturbance pushes into that high pressure. Highs will stay on the warmer side, into the low 70's, where they'll stay this weekend. Unfortunately, the shower and thunderstorm chances stick around Saturday and Sunday.
