Monday morning flights to and from Dallas to Columbia canceled

Monday’s morning flights between Dallas-Fort Worth and Columbia Regional Airport have been canceled. The cancellations include:

AA Flight 3431, departing COU at 6:25 a.m., arriving at DFW at 8:35 a.m.
AA Flight 3396, departing DFW at 11:40 a.m., arriving at COU at 1:10 p.m.

The exact reason for the cancellation hasn’t been announced. However, a winter storm system moving across much of Texas has caused numerous cancellations of flights originating in that state.

As of 5:30 a.m. Monday, the evening flights between Columbia and Dallas are still on schedule. The flights between Columbia and Chicago are on schedule as well.
