Route B shut down to clean up tractor trailer crash

A tractor trailer crash shut down Route B in Cole County Monday afternoon.

Authorities say the tractor trailer overturned around 2:40 p.m. on Route B near Giggins Creek Road.

Contents of the trailer, estimated to weigh around 40 tons, had to be emptied before the tractor trailer could be towed.

Emergency crews shut down Route B in order to upright and tow the vehicle.
