Mauk named SEC Freshman of the Week for third time

Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors for the third time this year.

Mauk completed 17 of 28 passes, 205 yards and five touchdowns, matching the single-game total set by Chase Daniel. Four of those TD passes went to Dorial Green-Beckham.

This is the 10th conference honor for Mizzou football this season, which is a program record. The previous high was eight back in 2007.

The Tigers are off this week, and return to action when they travel to Oxford to take on Ole Miss.
