Moberly man arrested for having cocaine

A Moberly man was arrested Saturday for cocaine possession.

Police said in a news release Brandon Brown, 26, was arrested on Allen Street and charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine).

Brown was sentenced to five years behind bars for a similar charge in 2005.

He was being held in the Randolph County Justice Center on $45,000 bond Sunday night.
