Rolla man hurt in morning crash
A Rolla man was seriously hurt in a crash in Phelps County Saturday morning.
Charles Tankersley, 69, was driving on Route O just south of the city when the crash happened at 9:55 a.m.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reports show Tanskersley fell asleep behind the wheel, went off the road and hit a mailbox and tree.
Tankersley was taken by ambulance to Phelps County Regional Medical Center.
