Tracking a pleasant end to the week

TODAY: Mostly sunny and beautiful with highs in the low to mid-70s.

TONIGHT: Pleasant and warm with lows in the low 50s.

EXTENDED: Saturday looks beautiful as well with highs right around 80 degrees. It will be breezy with gusts up to 25 mph from the south. We start off near 60 on Sunday morning, but a slow-moving cold front is on the way to bring the potential for showers and storms Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will still make it to the 70s on Sunday, but expect a better shot at a few storms after lunch time. Severe weather isn't expected at this time. Ingredients look a little more promising for a few strong storms Monday with the front stalled out over Mid-Missouri, with a big cool down coming by Tuesday afternoon as the front slides to our south. We could still have some lingering showers on Wednesday, and temperatures fall into the low 60s for highs.
