Morris Converting to hire former RR Donnelley workers

Morris Converting, LLC says it is looking to hire former RR Donnelley workers for its new facility in the capital city.

Morris is opening a packaging plant in east Jefferson City sometime next year.

This site will specialize in dog food packaging and will bring in at least 20 new jobs to the city.

Representatives from Morris told the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce that the company hopes to hire former RR Donnelley workers because they already have many of the skills needed for the job.

“They are very excited about he skills that the RR Donnelley employees have and so they are looking for opportunities to hire those individuals,” said Missy Bonnot from the Chamber of Commerce. “They are starting the process pretty quickly to go ahead and accept applications and resumes from the RR Donnelley employees.”

RR Donnelley closed its Jefferson City plant earlier this month, causing approximately 500 people to lose their jobs.
