Two in custody after meth sale in Centralia

Two people were arrested Tuesday night after trying to sell methamphetamine in Centralia.

According to police chief Larry Dudgeon, Paul Boles and Holly Blankenship tried to sell one-quarter gram of methamphetamine and were taken into custody around 5 p.m.

Boles, 41, of Mexico, could face charges of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Blankenship, 32, of Fulton, may face additional charges of drug distribution.

The methamphetamine was taken to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crime lab for evidence testing. Boles and Blankenship were taken to the Boone county Jail, awaiting formal charges and bonds.
