Gas leak reported near Jefferson Middle School

A gas leak in central Columbia may affect Friday morning traffic.

Ameren Missouri crews are working on fixing the leak at the intersection of Hickman Avenue and 8th Street right next to Jefferson Middle School.

Ameren says Hickman Avenue at the intersection will be shut down all morning and could impact buses loading and unloading students at Jefferson Middle School and Hickman High School.
