Tracking scattered showers this weekend

TODAY: Showers will move through early in the morning but begin clearing in the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid-50s with rainfall totals up to 0.25".

TOMORROW: Sunday morning starts off clear but another disturbance will bring a few thunderstorms early in the afternoon. Temperatures warm up slightly in the upper 50s.

EXTENDED: Monday looks like it will be our nicest day of the week with highs in the mid-60s and sunshine. A cold front diving south from Canada Monday night into Tuesday will bring a chance of precipitation in the morning. Temperatures look cold enough to mix a few wet snowflakes in with rain as morning temperatures will be in the mid-30s. We're not expecting an impact at this point, but felt the need to mention the possibility since model guidance is becoming more consistent across the board. Showers exit south by the afternoon, leaving us with clearing skies overnight into Wednesday morning. Expect widespread frost on Wednesday and Thursday mornings with temperatures in the low 30s. Another system approaches later on Thursday, bringing the possibility of rain Thursday night into Friday. Rain amounts over the next 7 days (including tonight) will add up to 1-1.5". Temperatures during the day next week will be chilly; Tuesday only gets to the mid-40s, while we gradually warm back up to about 60 by Friday.
