Tracking rain to end the week

THURSDAY: After a chilly start to the day, some sunshine will help us rebound. Temperatures will top out in the upper 50’s and low 60’s once again, with clouds increasing this evening.

TONIGHT: Those clouds will be here to stay overnight, keeping things more seasonal overnight. Lows will bottom out near 40.

EXTENDED: Those clouds are increasing ahead of our next approaching system. Rain chances will be slim in the morning, with dry air expected to win out initially. Our better chance to see showers areawide, will be toward the afternoon on Friday. We’re expecting light amounts, so flooding shouldn’t be a concern. Those garden-variety showers will stay with us for the first part of Saturday before starting to dwindle by the evening. Sunday’s looking like the more enjoyable day of the weekend, with highs pushing back into the upper 50’s with sunshine returning. We’ll keep the warming trend going on Monday, with temperatures in the 60’s ahead of another cold front. Not quite as sold on the rain chances with that front, but it will keep us cooler than average for the rest of the week. Highs will top out in the upper 50’s.
