Moberly man arrested for rape and child molestation

A Moberly man has been charged for sexually assaulting a juvenile.

Police say they arrested 24-year-old Robert L. Hook on Wednesday after receiving a report of a sexual assault. Authorities believe Hook molested a child under the age of 14.

Hook was arrested on charges of first-degree child molestation, first-degree sodomy, first-degree statutory rape and incest.

His bond was set at $50,000 cash-only.
