Two arrested for breaking into Jefferson City business

Police arrested two men after they allegedly broke into a restaurant early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to Johnny’s Pizza and Steak around 3 a.m. for a report of a burglary. When they arrived, officers saw two men fleeing from the back of the business.

After a short foot chase, officers caught one of the men. Police then brought in a K-9 unit to track down the second suspect, who was later found hiding in a stolen truck.

Officers arrested 41-year-old Rodney Rominous and 21-year-old Joshua Temmen, both of Jefferson City.

Police say the pair broke into the business and stole about $500 worth of merchandise.

Rominous and Temmen were arrested for stealing, resisting arrest, possession of burglary tools and vehicle theft.
