Versailles man drowns at Pomme de Terre Lake

A Versailles man drowned Saturday at Pomme de Terre Lake in southwest Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, rescuers were called to the lake around 3:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of a missing swimmer.

After a search, divers were able to recover the body of Vitaly Shereheta of Versailles.
