Pastor in court on new charges of statutory rape

A Mid-Missouri pastor appeared in court after facing more charges of statutory rape and statutory sodomy.

Travis Smith pleaded not guilty in Moniteau County on Friday.

Smith is the current pastor at the First Baptist Church in Stover, according to its website.

Smith was already accused of having sex with an underage girl in a cemetery. He was also found not guilty in 2011 on unrelated charges of child molestation.
