Kansas man drowns at Lake of the Ozarks

A Mission, Kan. man drowned Saturday morning at the Lake of the Ozarks after suffering a heart attack.

Carl Migliazzo, 48, was pulled from the Monarch Cove (1.7 mile marker) dock around 11:45 a.m. He was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.

His brother, Matthew, told ABC 17 News Sunday he got Migliazzo out of the water after ten minutes.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the drowning, which is its fifth for the year.
