Boone County man sentenced to prison for child porn

A Boone County man was sentenced Wednesday to prison for child porn charges.

Patrick Drury, 29, will spend 25 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to two charges of child porn.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department Cyber Crimes Task Force, Drury was investigated in May 2012 for possession of child pornography.

Detectives found over 500 photos of child porn, including children as young as infants and toddlers. Investigators also found a sexually-explicit video of a 2-year-old child that was recorded at Drury’s home.

Drury pleaded guilty to charges of sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child pornography in March 2013. On Wednesday, he was sentenced to 25 years for the sexual exploitation count and 10 years for the child porn count, with the sentences to be served concurrently.
