New Bloomfield man sentenced for sex crimes against a child
FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)
A New Bloomfield man was sentenced to 135 total years for charges of child molestation in the first degree and statutory sodomy in the first degree, three counts each.
Jarrad Vandergrift was found guilty after a three-day trial in February.
Vandergrift assaulted the child at various times between 2009 and 2018.
The victim came forward in 2019 when the child was 14 to a school counselor.
The judge sentenced Vandergrift to 15 years on each count of child molestation and 30 years on each count of statutory sodomy, all sentences to be served consecutively to each other, for a total of 135 years.
