Teen Reports “Suspicious” Van

A 16-year-old girl, walking alone at the intersection of Jenne Lane and Brown Station Road in Columbia, said a man tried to threaten her into his van Saturday afternoon.Now police are looking for a white man in his 20s with brown hair and some facial hair, driving an older white van.The girl said he threatened her to get in the van multiple times and she kept refusing. She then took off running before the van turned around and drove away.Anyone with information in the case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 875-TIPS.
