School Evacuated After Threat

Mexico Middle School was evacuated Monday afternoon after a threat was found written on a bathroom stall.Mexico Public Schools District Superintendent Kevin Freeman says a threat was found around 2:45 p.m. and the school was immediately evacuated. Mexico police, Audrain County Sheriff’s deputies and Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene to investigate.All students and staff are safe and there are no injuries.
