Fire Reported at Retirement Home

***UPDATE 8 P.M.***Fire officials say a water heater caught fire inside St. Joseph’s Bluffs Friday evening. The fire was contained to the heater, but smoke forced firefighters to evacuate residents for a short amount of time. No one was injured.Fire crews estimate damage to be around $5,000.***ORIGINAL STORY***A fire was reported at Heisinger Bluffs & St. Joseph’s Bluffs retirement homes in Jefferson City Tuesday evening.An ABC 17 News crew at the scene says the buildings were evacuated and firefighters are trying to clear smoke from the buildings.There is no word yet on injuries or a cause of the fire.
