MU Snow Days
University of Missouri officials canceled classes for a second day in a row, blaming poor road conditions and more off-campus student housing. They said a majority of students do not live in walking distance, and most neighborhood streets were not plowed Friday morning. When the school closed Thursday around noon, some students got left on campus. Buses stopped running before they canceled class, causing many students to spend the night at the student center. The school kept the building open so students had a warm place to stay overnight if they were abandoned. Despite classes being canceled, not all students were happy with the decision to cancel school. They thought the university dropped ball on this one.
