Man Tries to Rob Liquor Store

Saturday night Columbia Police picked up William Tate for a strong arm robbery at the Business Loop Liquor around 9:30 P.M. Police told ABC 17 News Tate was trying to steal a bottle of booze then fought back when an employee confronted him. Tate is also facing trespassing charges for what police said was shoplifting gone wrong.
