Boone County man charged after vehicle hijacking on March 3

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia man was arrested after a March 3 incident where he allegedly hijacked a vehicle.

According to court documents, Ahmad Chairse-McCutcheon broke a windshield of a vehicle and put it into drive as it moved onto Business Loop 70 with children inside the car.

Chairse-McCutcheon also took the phone away from the victim to stop her from calling the police.

Chairse-McCutcheon is charged with vehicle hijacking and 2nd-degree property damage.

The court issued no bond for Chairse-McCutcheon.
