Mizzou’s weekend road trip canceled

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mid-American Conference announced that Mizzou and Kent State will no longer meet on Jan. 31.

"The University of Missouri at Kent State University wrestling dual on Sunday, January 31 has been canceled due to roster limitations based on medical clearances by each institution's medical staff," the conference said in a press release on Thursday.

The MAC added that the dual will not be rescheduled.

The Tigers have two regular-season events remaining on the schedule, starting with a dual with SIUE on Feb. 7 at the Hearnes Center.

Mizzou's regular season concludes on Feb. 14 when the team travels to Stillwater, Oklahoma for the annual Cowboy Challenge.
