No. 12 Mizzou hoops gets set for SEC opener against No. 7 Tennessee
COLUMBIA, Mo.
The No. 12 Mizzou men's basketball team will host No. 7 Tennessee in MU's SEC opener on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Mizzou's matchup with the Vols will be the first Top-12 matchup at Mizzou Arena since No. 12 Mizzou beat No. 10 Illinois in the Braggin' Rights game in 2012.
There are several connections between the Tigers and Volunteers this season. Most notably, Coach Martin coached the Vols from 2011-14. Also, former MU basketball standout Kim English is now an assistant coach for Tennessee. Another fun note - Tennessee guard Victor Bailey Jr.'s father played football at Mizzou from 1990-92.
