Mizzou players earns several SEC honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (KMIZ)

The SEC announced its yearly awards on Tuesday afternoon, and the Tigers were well represented on the list.

Mizzou quarterback Connor Bazelak is the SEC Freshman of the Year. He was also named to the All-SEC Freshman Team.

Linebacker Nick Bolton and defensive lineman Trajan Jeffcoat were both named to the All-SEC First team.

Running back Larry Rountree was named to the All-SEC Second Team.

Kicker Harrison Mevis joined Bazelak on the All-SEC Freshman Team.

Mizzou finished the season 5-5. The Tigers will play Iowa on the Music City Bowl on Dec. 30 at 3 p.m.
