Tracking a foggy start for some this morning
SUNDAY: Fog has developed this morning and has been dense at times. Slow down on the roads, not only will it be tough to see at times, but a slick spot’s possible with temperatures in the 20’s. Sunshine will break out this afternoon, helping temperatures into the mid to upper 40’s.
TONIGHT: We’ll keep the partly cloudy skies around with lows falling into the low 30’s.
EXTENDED: Monday and Tuesday will be the best days of the week to get outside! Temperatures will warm into the low to mid 50’s, but a breeze gusting to 25-30 mph at times will keep us grounded. A cold front approaches Wednesday, bringing the return of rain chances to mid-Missouri. This system may wrap up as some flurries, but no accumulation is expected at this point. While this system won’t deliver on our dreams of a white Christmas, it will bring the cold. Highs Thursday and Friday are going to top out in the upper 20’s to some low 30’s. Thursday appears to be the worse of the two, with a wind to contend with knocking wind chills into the single digits. Things look to moderate during the weekend, back into the low 40’s.
