Mizzou hoops pulls out of upcoming tournament

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou basketball team will not make the trip to Connecticut to compete in a tournament at the Mohegan Sun.

The team confirmed that it is no longer attending the tournament because of several unknowns, which includes opponents.

A team spokesperson said the cancelation is not due to COVID-19 concerns.

The team is currently looking for other opportunties in the upcoming week, as its next matchup is slated for December 6 against Wichita State.
