Crash blocking westbound Highway 40 in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol and Boone Fire crews are responding to a crash on Highway 40 in Boone County.

It happened in the last half-hour near Route J.

According to a notification from Boone County Joint Communications, the crash is blocking a westbound lane of the highway.

ABC 17 crews on scene are reporting one vehicle has crashed.

We are working to find out if anyone was hurt and what led up to the crash.
