Authorities respond to fatal crash in Callaway County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person was injured and another was killed in a crash in Callaway County on Sunday.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports, the crash happened at 2:30 a.m. on U.S. 54 Westbound west of Country Road 982.

The vehicle involved in the crash traveled off the road and overturned, ejecting two people from the vehicle.

Dennis Davis, 61, from Auxvasse was pronounced dead at the scene.

John Meissert, 50, from Auxvasse received minor injuries in the crash.
