WELLSVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri Highway State Highway Patrol said a Wellsville man is dead after a Thursday night wreck just outside of city limits.

Bobby L. Morris, 62, was killed in the single-vehicle crash just after 8 p.m.

Trooper said 30-year-old Heath L. Morris was driving west on Route CC near the Glazier Trail Road intersection when his SUV went off the road and rolled over.

Reports said an 11-year-old boy and Bobby Morris were passengers in the vehicle.

Both the driver and the child had moderate injuries from the crash, the patrol said.

Morris was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Myers Funeral Home.

A Montgomery County Deputy took Heath Morris to an SSM hospital in Mexico. The 11-year-old was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Columbia, according to the report.

The report said both men were not wearing seatbelts. No others were hurt in the crash.
