Holts Summit teen accused of murder faces new charge
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.
The teenager charged in an Oct. 31 deadly shooting on Rolling Hills Drive in Jefferson City was charged with a new felony Thursday.
Cole County prosecutors charged Devin Schrimpf, 17, with delivery of marijuana.
Court documents say officers searched Schrimpf's belongings after he was taken to the hospital Oct. 31. Officers allege he had three plastic bags of marijuana and a THC vaping cartridge inside a black nylon bag.
Schrimpf was charged on Nov. 7 with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Marquise Conley. He is also charged with first-degree burglary in Callaway County in a case going back to 2018.
Online court records show Schrimpf is expected to appear in the Callaway County courthouse on Nov. 25 for a probation violation hearing.
