Tracking one last hot day for a while

RAIN CHANCES

SUNDAY: Another warm one in store this afternoon. Temperatures will push back into the low 90's, with the typical humidity keeping heat index values in the low 100's. Some more afternoon spotty storms will be possible, but will be isolated in nature.

TONIGHT: Storm chances stick around especially after midnight. Overnight lows fall into the low 70's.

EXTENDED: A frontal boundary will start to move in out of Iowa and Nebraska Monday, bringing the return of some widespread rain chances. Those rain chances will stick with us throughout much of the day. With all of the cloud cover and rain opportunities, highs will be held into the low to mid 80's. Tuesday is looking spectacular, with the front making enough progress to the south, the cool, dry weather will stick around. That front will lift back north and lead to more chances at rain Wednesday and Thursday.
