COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two family doctors from Pinnacle Regional Hospital will work at University of Missouri Health Care's new Boonville clinic when it opens next month.

MU Health Care said in a news release Monday that doctors Mona Brownfield and Robert Koch, who formerly worked for the Boonville hospital, will work at the new clinic, which is set to open July 6.

The company that owns Pinnacle Regional Hospital halted services at the hospital after filing for bankruptcy protection in January.

The new clinic at 102 Isle of Capri Blvd. will also employ a family nurse practitioner, according to the release.

The former Pinnacle medical providers have been seeing patients at MU Health's clinic in Fayette since February, according to the release.

In-person and virtual appointments are available.
