Two people hit by cars during Columbia protest
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
UPDATE 11:10 P.M.: Protests continued late Monday night. Protesters moved to the police station before walking towards the courthouse.

ORIGINAL: At least two people were hit by vehicles during a protest near downtown Columbia.
Multiple witnesses said they saw a woman with a group of protesters get struck by a vehicle at the Broadway and Providence intersection after 8 p.m.
Around 8:45 p.m., a second person was struck by a vehicle heading east on Broadway.

Protesters had moved to the intersection after beginning earlier outside Columbia City Hall. They held signs and chanted for justice for George Floyd, a black man who died last week in Minneapolis police custody, and called for an end to police brutality.
The protest moved to the Columbia Police Department around 9:15 p.m.
