Mizzou wrestler runs impromptu marathon

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou wrestler Allan Hart ran an impromptu marathon this past Monday.

"Think of all the little soccer moms that do it like I can definitely do it," Hart said. "I'm 21-years-old."

The rising junior finished in about five and a half hours. He said it was much harder than he anticipated.

"The first half I cruised," Hart said. "I did awesome, and then around mile like 16 is when it really started to suck."

Hart added, "It sucked up until about mile 25. Then I was a mile out, and I got a little boost of energy. I was like 'oh, man - you really did this' and ran home."
