Tracking a stormy Easter

TODAY: Storms and showers are pushing through the viewing area early this morning, and those should clear out by midday. We'll have a brief break from the rain today around lunchtime, but storms will ramp back up as we move into the afternoon. This second round of storms will come along the cold front, and they have the potential to be strong to possibly severe. Our main focus of what we are keeping an eye on will be hail formation and strong winds with these storms. Temperatures will be near 70.

TONIGHT: After the cold front pushes through the area late in the evening, things will cool down drastically. Temperatures will drop into the 30s overnight, and if moisture sticks around long enough, we could see a few snow flurries as the system moves out of the area.

EXTENDED: This week is considerably cooler than last with temperatures well below freezing. We'll see highs in the 50s for most of the week, and we are tracking a couple of small chances for rain toward the end of the week.
