Tracking windy conditions this afternoon
THURSDAY: A bit quieter this afternoon. Temperatures have taken a hit and look to only manage the middle 50's this afternoon behind the front. Winds will be the one issue we have to contend with out of the northwest. Sustained winds will be anywhere from 15-25 mph with gusts getting up around 40-45 mph.
TONIGHT: Winds back off but mostly clear skies stick around as high pressure settles overhead. Temperatures will fall to or slightly below the freezing mark so any sensitive vegetation will need to be covered.
EXTENDED: A pretty similar day for Friday, minus the blustery winds. Highs get back into the middle 50's with more sunshine. Clouds will increase late in the day, ahead of our next weather system. Rain returns as early as Saturday morning but will be very showery in nature. A bit steadier rain all day looks to be in store Sunday, with temperatures stuck in the 50's for the Easter weekend. That system may wrap up with some flurries as it moves out, but nothing serious. The other side of the weekend is trending drier but cooler with highs in the upper 40's. We're tracking a pair of disturbances for Tuesday night and Wednesday night that could bring some light showers or a flurry.
