Three MU basketball players to test NBA waters

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Three Mizzou men's basketball players will enter their names in the 2020 NBA Draft pool, but they will still be able to retain their eligibility in college.

Xavier Pinson (So.), Jeremiah Tilmon (Jr.) and Mitchell Smith (Jr.) will test the NBA waters these next few months.

“I’m very supportive of all three of them going through this to receive key information from the NBA Undergraduate Advisory Committee and greatly benefit from the process,” head coach Cuonzo Martin said in a release. “I know they each have goals to pursue professional basketball at the highest levels and this is a significant step in that journey. We’ll help them in any way we can.”

The three players will have until June 3 to decide if they want to return to MU.
